Sitbeside is a study app for high school students. Scan your notes, practice for the real test with questions written from what your class actually covered, and fix the mistakes you make until they stick.

I forgot my password. On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?". We email a 6-digit code to your account's address; enter it with a new password. If no email arrives, check your junk folder.
The code email did not arrive. Check junk or spam first. Codes last 15 to 30 minutes; you can ask for a new one from the same screen. If your address was typed wrong when the account was made, write to us.
How do I delete my account? Open the Me tab, then Account, then "Delete account". This removes your account and everything stored in it from our server straight away. What is on your phone stays until you delete the app.
How do I add a seatmate? Open the Seatmates tab. Tap "Invite" to make a one-time code and give it to the other person, or tap "Enter a code" if they gave you theirs. Nobody is connected until the person who made the code accepts.
Someone is bothering me, or their name or picture is not OK. Open that person in the Seatmates tab and tap "Report" or "Block". Blocking ends the connection and stops them connecting again; they are not told. We look at every report within 24 hours.
Seatmates says it is off for my account. It was turned off after a report. If you think that was a mistake, write to us from the email address on your account.
A practice question or explanation is wrong. The questions are written by an AI model from your notes, and it can make mistakes. Check anything important with your class materials or your teacher.
Can I use Sitbeside without an account? Yes. Everything except Seatmates works without one. An account keeps a copy of your work so you can get it back on another phone.
